Tony started taking
Drum Lessons in 3rd grade through 8th grade. By 14 years old he
had mastered Rock, Jazz, Latin and Classical Drum Beats. He
performed in Concert & Jazz Bands all throughout Grammar School.
In High School He continued Performing in off - Broadway plays
such as " Man of La Mancha", "King and I", "Grease" and "Guys and
Dolls".
Later on Tony and
Brother Basil ( alias Dr. B.), went into recordings studio's and
recorded various original songs composed by Basil.
In the mid 80's,
he was asked to join a rock band "American Heartbeat". In this
band was also "Dr.B., and Mike Corrado ( Current Dr. B sax player.
The Band played local bars. They also recorded original songs and
made a video.
Some 15-17 years
later, Tony is back in the "Big Beat Seat" drumming for Dr. B and
The Interns. He is having the time of his life!!!!! His hopes are
to keep going as long as possible, and also do some original
recordings! Who knows????
Dr. B & the Interns are a local NJ band playing bars,
